Google India

Now when did this came up? एक दम अचानक google.co.in Looks like all the traffic from INDIA is being redirected to the new INDIA specific domain. Good news!! smile it is, but what happens to those who don't carry the right Hindi / Telugu / Marathi font wink I wonder. Till then just बल्ले बल्ले a brand new gift. smile

Well, even if they have the fonts, how easy it is to understand what Google is saying (e.g. _Nirdeshika_ for Directories? (perhaps..) )!?

http://velankar.hypermart.net/fonts/dvsr0ntt.ttf
is not a unicode encoded font.
http://geocities.com/alkuma/seehindi.html
has a link to the unicode encoded version of the same.
Also, you really don't need to distinguish between Hindi and Marathi fonts.

is that so? I was under the impression that DV-TTSurekh was a unicode fon't [going by few sites mention so]. But you are a better authority. thxs for the correction.. Plus is the font set the same for Hindi and Marathi? I hope that is wat u mean.. Thxs again
